Eligibility
All post-secondary students enrolled in an accredited institution are allowed to participate in this hackathon. All hackers must attend the event in-person, though not all elements of the hackathon require attendance.
Be Respectful
Throughout the duration of the hackathon, please be respectful to the volunteers, organizers and fellow hackers. GDG McMaster may disqualify you, your team or your project from the hackathon if you fail to be respectful to those around you in any hackathon space.
Team Formation
This hackathon can be tackled as a team or individually. Teams can be no larger than 4 participants, and all members must have signed up and RSVP’d for the event.
Submission Requirements
Each project should be submitted no later than 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025. Projects submitted after this time may not be included in the judging schedule, and will be disqualified. All project files submitted to Devpost must be final, and no modifications shall be made afterwards.

Links to Projects: Please make sure that all links (e.g. GitHub, GitLab etc.) are accessible for the judges. Please submit ONE project link.

Visual Aid: Visual aids are strongly recommended for your project based on the judging criteria. Both urls and files are accepted. Accepted forms of visual aids include simulations, models, screenshots, pictures, slideshows and videos.

Models and simulations: Please include a screenshot or an exported version of a pdf, jpg or png so that judges can view it on their device along with any other media.

File upload: Please submit all files as a compressed file (.zip). The submission page will not allow for you to upload more than one file.

Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the hackathon organisers.
